Topro Opti Trace Cow bolus is a mineral diet feed in the form of a bolus, specially tailored for young stock / dairy cattle from 250 kg.

Topro Opti Trace Cow; building block for healthy cows!

The bolus provides a daily level of trace elements (iodine, cobalt, copper, zinc and selenium) for 6 months. This contributes to optimal resistance and fertility for dairy cattle and young stock above 250 kg. A bolus can also be administered to provide extra support for a cow’s growth or at times of high stress such as illness, calving or insemination.

Dosage Opti Trace Cow bolus

• Dairy cattle: 1 Opti Trace Cow Bolus every 200 days. When drying off 1 Topro Dry bolus can be administered as an extra if necessary
• Young stock over 250 kg: 1 Opti Trace Cow Bolus when grazing and 1 Opti Trace Cow bolus when putting into the stable (or 1 Opti Trace Cow bolus every 200 days)
• Do not administer to young stock below 250 kg
• Do not administer 2 Opti Trace Cow boluses at the same time

Instructions for administration

• Remove the foil from the bolus
• Administer with a suitable bolus shooter
• Before use, it is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian or feed expert regarding:
  1. the balance of the trace elements in the daily ration
  2. the status of the herd with regard to trace elements
• To increase the density, the bolus contains 16.5% inert iron, if applicable
• Where applicable, additives for which maximum levels have been established should be avoided at the same time as those of a bolus.
