Use of our services

When you sign up for one of our services, we ask you to provide personal information. This data is used to be able to perform the service. The data is stored on topro.nl’s own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this information with any other personal information we have.

Communication

When you send e-mail or other messages to us, we may keep those messages. Sometimes we ask you for your personal information that is relevant to the situation in question. This makes it possible to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on Topro Nederland’s own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this information with any other personal information we have.

Cookies

We make use of cookies on this website. A cookie is a simple small file that is sent along with pages from this website [and/or Flash applications] and is stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive.
The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers on a subsequent visit.

Mixpanel

If you have given your consent, we use Mixpanel on this website, an analytics service of Mixpanel Inc., One Front Street, 28th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94111, USA.

Mixpanel processes data about your use of our website: pages viewed, actions in our shop (such as viewing products, adding them to the cart and completed orders with their value), device and browser information and a pseudonymous identifier. For logged-in customers we also process the internal customer number. Name and e-mail address are not sent to Mixpanel. Your IP address is used to determine your approximate location (city, region, country) and is not stored permanently. The pseudonymous identifier is kept in a cookie in your browser.

To improve our website, Mixpanel also records individual sessions (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling). Input in form fields is masked and not recorded. The pages of your customer account and the order confirmation are not recorded.

The processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act). You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of this website. The data is stored on servers within the EU. Where Mixpanel Inc., as a US provider, accesses data, this is based on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Mixpanel.

Independently of your consent, for every order we process a few order details (order value, currency, number of items, payment method, coupon codes used and a pseudonymous order identifier) in Mixpanel from our server, so that we can analyse our sales figures completely. Your device is not accessed and name, address and e-mail address are not sent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of our business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Analytics and Google Ads

If you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 on this website, an analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). It is loaded through Google Tag Manager, and only after you have clicked “Accept all cookies”.

Google Analytics processes data about your use of our website: pages viewed, actions in our shop (such as viewing products, adding them to the cart and the checkout steps), the website you came from, device and browser information and a pseudonymous identifier. The identifier is kept in the cookies _ga and _ga_4MY6DH8Z8J (stored for up to 2 years). Your IP address is used to determine your approximate location and is not stored by Google Analytics. We have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation.

The processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act). You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of this website. Where data is transferred to Google LLC in the USA, this is based on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Google processes the data on our behalf as a processor under Google’s data processing terms (Art. 28 GDPR).

Independently of your consent, for every paid order we send a few order details (order number, order value, currency, shipping costs, VAT and the products ordered) from our server to Google Analytics, so that we can analyse our sales figures completely. Your device is not accessed and name, address and e-mail address are not sent. If you have given your consent, the order is linked to the pseudonymous identifier of your visit. Without consent we use a random one-time identifier, so the order cannot be linked to you.

If you reach us through a Google ad, the link carries a Google click identifier (gclid). When you order, we store this identifier and send it with the order value from our server to Google Ads, so that we can measure which ads lead to orders. Name, address and e-mail address are not sent. The legal basis for both server transmissions is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of our business and the measurement of our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Social Media

Buttons are included on our website to promote (“like”) or share (“share”) web pages on social networks such as Facebook, etc.
These buttons work by means of pieces of code that come from Facebook itself.
Cookies are placed through this code. We have no influence on that. Read the privacy statement of Facebook to read what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.

Access, correction or deletion of your data

You have the right to request access to and correction or deletion of your data. See our contact page for this. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to identify yourself adequately. When it comes to accessing personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find these in the settings of your browser.
