Topro Magnesium bolus is a dietic mineral feed to reduce the risk of tetany (hypomagnesemia or head disease). The dietic mineral feed comes in the form of a bolus and is only suitable for oral administration.

Magnesium bolus prevents magnesium deficiency!

In a longer period of time with a magnesium deficiency, head disease can develop. This can occur with a ration that consists mainly of grass with (too) little magnesium: mainly with young grass in the spring. Entering this bolus provides the animal’s daily magnesium requirement for a period of 1 month.

Dosage Magnesium bolus

• Enter 2 boluses at once
• If necessary, another 2 boluses can be given 1 month later
• Do not administer to cattle below 250 kg

Instructions for administration

• Administer with a suitable bolus shooter
• Before use, it is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian or feed expert regarding:
  1. the balance of the trace elements in the daily ration
  2. the status of the herd with regard to trace elements
• To increase the density, the bolus contains 16% inert iron, if applicable
• Where applicable, additives for which maximum levels have been established should be avoided at the same time as those of a bolus.
