Bolus applicator with handle for easy entry of mineral boluses for cattle. The mouth of the bolus applicator has a stainless steel clamp on the inside. This makes the bolus applicator suitable for large and small boluses (pill).

Explanation of the use of the bolus applicator

The bolus applicator has been specially developed for Topro mineral boluses

• Place a bolus in the bolus applicator
• Hold the animal with the head extended and the neck straight
• Place the bolus applicator in the front of the mouth and push firmly but gently over the back of the tongue
• Raise the head with the neck extended and the animal will swallow the end of the bolus applicator, which is noticeable as the bolus applicator slides easily down the throat
• The bolus can then be introduced by pulling the trigger
• Gently pull back the bolus applicator
• Do not use force when delivering the bolus
• Observe the animal briefly to make sure that the bolus is swallowed
